Notice Ciaspolissima
Enrollment for the snowshoes race “
CIASPOLISSIMA” is now open. The race will take place in
Valbruna (near Tarvisio) on Sunday , 17/01/2010. In case of poor snow conditions, the race will be moved to nearby Val Saisera or other nearby location.
Partecipants have the option of a competitive race of 10 km or a non competitive race of about 5 km.
Snowshoes rental will be possible near the start of the race, and 120 pair will be availble. To guarantee availablity we suggest to prepay the enrollment and rental fees.
Enrollment on the web site www.lussarissimo.com until saturday 16/01/2010 at 4PM and then Sunday the 17/01/2010 at the start of the race between 9 and 10:30. We raccomend to sign up in advence on the web site.
Entry fees:
Non competitive race € 8, Competitive race € 12, Snowshoes rental € 6. Special prices for groups above 15 participants.
First prize: a week for 2 people in Grado. Other prizes and gadgets available to participants. Trophies for the categories M/F up to 50 years old and over 50 .
Please note that the race is valid for the
Lussarissimo-Bavisela combined race. Prizes for the best combined ranking in the marathon and half marathon that will take place in Trieste on May 3rd.
Special agreements with restaurants and hotels: Race participants will have special discounts on local hotels and restaurants. Details will be published on the web site and will be available at the race.
Other attractions: on the evening of the 5th and 6th December you can see the tipical valley’s event the parade of the “Krampus” demons dressed up with scary masks that roam the streets.
Lussarissimo 2010
Begin the winter season with a snowshoes race on December 6th. Competitive race of 10km, non competitive race of 4km. On March 19th take part in the Ski Alp race by night,
Lussarissimo Down Up on the trail that reaches the Lussari sanctuary.
On March 20th, take part in the Lussarissimo where you can choose who to challenge on the world cup course of the Lussari, 4 km of trail and 100 gates in an exilarating parallel giant slalom. For the aspiring iron men, take part in the
combined challenge Ski Alp - Lussarissimo. 1000 meters uphill on friday evening and the same downhill in the race the next morning. Sunday March 21st also a snowboard and slopestyle contest. March 28th, take part in the
Sudtirol Gardenissima, a race twinned with the Lussarissimo on a 6 km course (www.valgardena.it/gardenissima) valid for the prize of
Combined Gigantissimi. First prize Lussarissimo a great scooter. Many prizes for all partecipants and the combined races. Prizes also for the largest group and the 100th time at the Lussarissimo.
New for 2010: possibility of combining the Lussarissimo competitions with the European Marathon, the Bavisela of Trieste of May 2rd (www.bavisela.it). You can partecipate at the Mararona or half marathon in combination with the Lussarissimo races, including the snowshoes race. Visit our web site
